The GRANIT team of IRISA is supported by the University of Rennes 1. Its research activity is focused on adaptive protocols and architectures for wireless communications. GRANIT will be in charge of the power manager design and implementation, taking into account both available energy on the nodes and higher layers protocols.

CEA-LETI is one of Europe’s most important research institutes in the fields of microelectronics, microsystems, sensors and communication systems. In particular, the IC design department (DACLE) has developed expertise in the field of ULP wireless transceivers design, developing system on chip solutions for ULP standards such as IEEE802.15.4, 15.4a, Bluetooth LE and Sigfox. CEA-LETI will be in charge of the design of the integrated version of the wake-up radio and its joint optimization with the mac protocol.

The Networking Research Group of ICube investigates, designs and evaluates networking architectures and protocols, mainly within the framework of the future Internet. The group brings into the consortium its expertise in network protocols design, as well as in experimental evaluation and validation through the Equipex FIT IoT-LAB. The group is supported by the University of Strasbourg.

Wi6Labs was founded in 2014 by engineers from the telecom industry with complementary skills, to deliver end-to-end solution using disruptive technology for smart cities and smart agriculture. Wi6labs won innovation awards (Creacc 2014, Crisalide Numérique 2016) or was runner-up (Cleantech Open France 2015, Crisalide eco activities 2015) and will bring its expertise on IoT deployments and management.
